Three Counties Physiotherapy is part of Bridges Clinic, Bedford Hospital.
We offer a dedicated physiotherapy unit in Bedford located on Kimbolton Road, North Wing site.
Our team of senior chartered physiotherapists, each with speciality areas of expertise, offer treatments for a wide range of musculo-skeletal and sports injuries to help you return to your normal activities as soon as possible.
Outpatients may be referred by their consultant or GP or they may contact us directly on a self-referral basis.
A team you can trust
When seeking expert help, you need to be certain that your clinician has the necessary knowledge and skills to diagnose, treat and resolve your problem. All of our clinicians have a minimum of five years postgraduate experience and continued professional development.
All have a degree in physiotherapy, are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP).
Unlike most general private physiotherapy services, we are directly linked to clinical teams at Bedford hospital NHS Trust. Our physiotherapists routinely work alongside Orthopaedic Consultants and Rheumatologists sharing knowledge, expertise and the latest research and treatment techniques.
You can receive specialist treatments, such as injection therapies, knowing your clinician is highly skilled and well trained. Our dynamic service is routinely sought for participation in high profile research projects, keeping us at the sharp end of physiotherapy. If there are any emerging treatment trends, we are the first to know.
Large Physiotherapy Gym
The importance of exercise for musculoskeletal conditions such as low back pain is becoming increasingly evident. Our spacious, well-equipped gymnasium allows us to provide a range of rehabilitation classes and ‘one to one’ sessions. We look beyond recovery, aiming to make you fitter and stronger than you were prior to your injury…reducing the risk of your condition returning.
Three Counties Physiotherapy welcomes private patients (self-pay or insured) either through a referral or you may contact us directly to arrange treatment.
We are usually able to offer same day appointments. Appointments are flexible and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
We offer an unhurried 45-minute initial consultation. We believe this allows time to listen to you and fully understand your symptoms. In doing this, we then devise a comprehensive, bespoke clinical plan to best manage symptoms and return you back to your best.
